When I start the test a message appears which indicates that there is no dongle attached. This only happens on a few BULATS workstations randomly.

Check how many licences you have on the dongle. The number of licences determines how many candidates can take test at the same time. You can check this by opening the DK2 Server Remote Monitor. The DK2 Licences indicate the number of licences on the dongle. If the Maximum user number is lower than the number of workstations you want to run BULATS on at the same time, then either contact your agent or Cambridge ESOL Technical Support for instructions on how to
obtain more licences.

Check that the deskey setting is correct. Open Start\Settings\Control Panel\DESkey\Networking and ensure that the correct workstation ID is entered (ID of the workstation where the dongle is attached).

Reboot the workstations.

If none of the above solve the problem, then reinstall the deskey drivers on the workstation where the problem occurs.
