BULATS self-study, 100% online course
This is a fully online course. Learners work through interactive practice exercises and receive immediate feedback for the Reading and Listening papers. Learners can compare their work to model answers in Speaking and Writing.
The BULATS course is mapped from levels B1–C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)

The course is organised into three modules:
- Reading and Listening module (30 hours)
- Speaking module (10 hours)
- Writing module (10 hours).
The modules are split into 50 lessons with hundreds of interactive practice exercises based on input from written and spoken sources (audio and video) which are commonly used in a work or business situation. Topics include careers and recruitment, service industry, wholesale and retail, company performance and communications.

This is entirely up to the learner to decide. As a guide, learners are expected to complete the course over a period of three months and so the average study time per week is four to five hours.
The BULATS blended learning course is not certificated. Learners who have completed the course successfully should be ready to take the BULATS test which is certificated. To take the test, you must register with an approved BULATS Agent. To find an Agent.
