Cambridge ESOL host BULATS Teacher seminar in Taiwan 21 November 2008
To help demonstrate the advantage Cambridge ESOL’s online teaching resources for BULATS can have in the classroom, the exam board recently hosted a successful event on the subject.
The seminar “Teaching English Using Cambridge ESOL Online Teaching Resources” (28 October) was attended by over 100 teachers in Taipei. Participants were shown how Cambridge ESOL classroom activities can be best used to develop the key English skills needed for the global world of work.
Sharon Jordan, BULATS Subject Manager at Cambridge ESOL, who facilitated the event, commented:
“The seminar was a great success. We showed participants the positive impact BULATS can have on teaching and learning in the classroom. It was clear from the feedback received that participants found the seminar informative and beneficial to their teaching”.
BULATS, which is available in English, French, German and Spanish, has seen increased popularity in Taiwan in recent years with recognition from government organisations such as the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.
