Accreditation
QCA - the government regulator for exams in England - has formally accredited BULATS as part of the UK's National Qualifications Framework. Official accreditation of this innovative, multilingual business language testing system means that some tuition providers in the UK will be able to receive state funding for BULATS preparation courses, and opens the way to recognition in other countries for employment in the state sector. It will also make it easier for employers to understand the value of the test.

The UK Border Agency for Immigration recognises BULATS for Tiers 1 and 2 of the points based immigration system for working in the UK
